Jarita’s Florist established since 1977 is located at the heart of Woodstock, NY. Owner and Floral Designer Rita Sands, and husband Jay Sadowitz’s love story for flower power began back at the original 1969 Bethel Music Festival. Since then we have raised children, grandchildren and contributed decades of floral creativity for our Woodstock community with passion.

 

Here we pride ourselves on working with our customers on each order, providing custom and personalized details. We know many of our customers by a first name basis and take care in noting what flowers they like or do not like ensuring no detail is too small for our attention. We welcome all brides and their creative ideas, suggestions to make their special day in the Catskills a vision come true.

 

Our fresh flowers and materials are hand selected and inspected by Rita and Jay. We pride ourselves on working with as many local growers and farms as possible for specialty flowers. Our floral design staff and team have years of experience each. All highly skilled and have worked wedding events from California, New York City, New England and South Florida. We are confident your wedding day flowers will be top quality fine flowers and the most beautiful designs from the Hudson Valley.
